Matt is the President of Southern Sustainability, NM/WT and oversees all aspects of the New Mexico, El Paso and West Texas markets.
Matt attended the University of NM and graduated in 2000. He then furthered his education by getting his masters degree at University of Phoenix. He started his career with Philip Morris and moved to Seattle where he negotiated contracts for the next 4 years .
In 2005, he moved back to NM and that is where started his career in the commercial roofing industry. He worked for a local rep/distributor in Albuquerque and quickly familiarized himself with the technical aspects of the roofing industry. Matt was presented the opportunity to branch out as an independent rep for Carlisle in the NM/WT market and has been since 2010. He happily resides in North Albuquerque Acres with his wife and 3 kids and stays very busy with his multitude of kids activities, camping, being on the lake and enjoying life.
Born in Nebraska, my family moved to New Mexico in 1991 and reside in Rio Rancho. I grew up playing soccer and baseball and having a passion for the outdoors. I started my career in restaurants and hospitality for 20 years and spent 14 years of that in management, human resources and leadership development. During this time I focused on public relations, training and development and public speaking.
While working, I pursued my EMT license from the Albuquerque Fire Academy as well as having the opportunity to coach youth soccer for 8 years. Currently I am involved in our community with the Rotary Club and philanthropy work and continuing to work toward our local search and rescue chapter.
My free time is spent with my wife and our two boys and daughter where we enjoy playing sports, camping, fishing, staying at our cabin and being around our friends.
Hello, my name is Joshua Trujillo, and am excited to be joining the Southern Sustainability team. I was born in Florida but have lived my life in Albuquerque, NM. I have a science background after attending New Mexico State University and obtaining a degree in kinesiology. I also attended Brookline College,
where have obtained a degree in nursing. I have been serving my community for the past years for Presbyterian Hospital but am ready to explore something new through the construction industry and Southern Sustainability. I enjoy many things and activities, such as mountain biking, snowboarding, and golfing. I love cars and tinkering on them but still, need a mechanic from time to time. I look forward to
working with everyone and being a part of such a great team.
